There's a black owned papaya restaurant in the heart of Bed-Stuy Brooklyn & the food is OUTSTANDING. If you're ever in the neighborhood, visit Broadway Papaya located at 1164 Broadway, corner of Patchen & Lafayette Ave. Hot dogs & papayas aren't the only thing this establishment offers. Check out their homemade chicken wraps, beef or chicken cheese steaks, hot wings & german chocolate cake. They also cater to those who are health conscious. Ask about their fruit smoothies made from real fruit, veggie burgers, and veggie franks. The mega man with wheat grass is my personal favorite. Hours of operation are Monday-Thursday 8AM-12PM & Friday & Saturday 8AM-2AM. Oh, & YES THEY SELL BREAKFAST!
